Raúl Gómez Escribano

Raúl is an architect (2005) and holds a PhD in Architectural Heritage from the UPM (2019) with the thesis "Atocha, 500 years of history of Madrid", awarded the highest distinction cum laude. His main line of research focuses on drawing, architecture and the city, with particular attention to the study of vanished historic buildings. In this field he has worked on various exhibitions, both as curator and in the production of unpublished material, as well as in exhibition design. Since 2024 he has been working as an architect at Patrimonio Nacional, carrying out his work in the Directorate of Real Estate and Natural Environment, while combining it with research activities.
