María Martín Gil

María holds a PhD in Science from San Pablo-CEU University in Madrid (2006), for her dissertation "New Electrodes for Rechargeable Lithium Batteries," completed in the Chemistry Department of San Pablo-CEU University in Madrid (2006). From 2003 to 2014, she worked as a civil servant at the Research and Quality Control Center (CICC) of the National Consumer Institute, now AECOSAN (Spanish Agency for Consumer Affairs and Food Safety). In November 2014, she joined the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute as Head of the Research and Training Area, where she is responsible for establishing the strategy and priorities for the area's research and training activities in conservation from an interdisciplinary perspective. She also coordinates the National Conservation Research Plan (PNIC) and the cultural institutions node of the Technoheritage network.
